Facebook will launch a web test for IPv6
Next June 6, 2012 will begin the final transfer from Internet Protocol IPv4 to IPv6 new version.
Currently, IPv6 is coexisting with the previous version, which remains the most widespread. It is expected that IPv6 will gradually replace IPv4 as the user devices, applications and services to adapt. Facebook has already taken the first step already taken steps to implement this protocol.
The network is committed to allowing access via IPv6 their users in most of their points of HTTP and HTTPS access. The next May 18 will activate the new protocol for developers in beta.facebook.com direction, giving enough to test their applications time and correct errors.
